What to bring…the essentials

• A backpack for all belongings
•Morning tea and Lunch
• Drink bottle with Water
• Changes of clothes (named) at least 2 sets
• Hat (winter/summer)
• Warm outdoor clothes
• Any special ‘comforter/snuggly’ for rest time
• Nappies if required

Settling your Child
When families begin with us you will be encouraged and supported to make the process as smooth as possible.
You are welcome to stay for a period of time up to one hour to settle your child with the help and support of the teachers. This is a very individual experience and depends on the confidence and age of your child.
Together we will ensure this is a positive and exciting time for you and your child. Some families like to make a few short visits before children stay for longer, for others they are ready to go!
Your child is important to us, so we personalise your beginning at Ako Tahi to suit. Family involvement is always welcome.

Fee Structure
If you Qualify for WINZ Childcare subsidy then NO FEES!
20 free ECE hours for children 3 - 6 years
Hourly rate $5.37
If you require financial support to pay fees please complete our 'Ako Tahi Whanau' Form
